There is no universal 90-to-120-day inventory target. Use sales variability, production lead time, transit estimates, receiving time, storage costs and cash-flow constraints to choose a buffer. Compare direct delivery with an agreed staging warehouse only where its services and charges are confirmed.

Resolve import arrangements before shipping

Confirm the eligible importer, broker, documents and duty-payment arrangement. A DDP quote does not automatically determine the importer or guarantee warehouse acceptance. Keep customs release, delivery and Amazon receiving estimates separate.
