LHD International Logistics: what we do and how we work

LHD International Logistics is the trading name of Shenzhen Lianhangda International Logistics Co., Ltd., a freight forwarder based in Bao’an District, Shenzhen. We arrange carriage, consolidation, customs documentation and delivery for importers buying goods in China, and we work with sellers, small and medium importers and buyers who consolidate from several suppliers.

How we work

• One contact for the shipment. The person who quotes the consignment answers the questions about it, rather than handing the file to a queue.
• A warehouse in Shenzhen. Suppliers deliver to us or we collect from them. Each delivery is checked against the packing list, repacked where that reduces volume, and stored for the agreed period at the quoted charges before departure.
• Documents prepared before the cargo moves. Commercial invoice, packing list and declaration drafts are checked at booking stage, because a documentation problem found at the port is far more expensive than one found at the warehouse.
• Scope written into the quotation. Included and excluded charges are stated rather than left to be discovered on an invoice.

Compliance, stated plainly

• We do not declare goods below their transaction value to reduce duty. Undervaluation is an offence in every destination market and exposes the importer to penalties.
• We do not move restricted goods as general cargo. Acceptance of batteries, magnets, liquids and powders depends on product details, packaging, documentation, route and carrier approval.
• We coordinate freight services, arranging carriage and documentation rather than operating the vessels or aircraft, and we will say so when a shipment needs a service we do not provide.

Who we work with

• E-commerce sellers restocking marketplaces, who need duty settled before delivery so a shipment is not held while a listing runs out of stock
• Small and medium importers buying regularly from China, who want the charges and the transit time before they commit
• Buyers consolidating from several suppliers, for whom combining orders into one shipment is usually the single largest saving available
